Hi, I hope you are well, today I am going to tell you about Evariste Galois. Evariste Galois was a 19th-century French mathematician renowned for revolutionizing the theory of algebraic equations and group theory. Born in 1811 and passing away in 1832, his most influential work includes proving the general insolubility of fifth-degree equations by radicals and establishing Galois theory, a cornerstone of modern abstract algebra. Despite his short life, Galois' mathematical legacy endures, significantly impacting various branches of contemporary mathematics. I love the story of Evariste Galois because, aside from being a brilliant mathematician, he was very passionate, especially about love. I'm amazed that, at such a young age, he accomplished many significant things in mathematics, most of which he did while still in high school. I also feel a connection with his way of pursuing what he was passionate about and exploring new ideas in mathematics, adding a personal touch to my ...

Blog 4: A photograph you like

Imagen
Hello everyone, I hope you are well, today I am going to talk about a photo that I like and reminds me of nice and bad moments at the same time. The picture you are looking at is from two years ago where I am with my dog "Boby", on that day my family had given him to me for my birthday, as they know that I have always loved dogs. This photo marks a very important point for me because a month ago my dog "Colomba" passed away, she was with me for 10 years and practically grew up by my side, so it was a very hard blow because she was very important to me. This photo is very emotional because it makes me remember my two friends. This photo if I remember correctly was taken by my younger sister who was the one who found him and decided to keep him as a present for my birthday.  Thank you.

My favorite piece of technology

Hello everyone. Today I will talk about my favorite piece of technology which is the cell phone. This device that we all commonly use is my favorite piece of technology because I find it quite practical and quite easy to handle where I can use it to listen to music and read a book at the same time. I use my cell phone frequently for several reasons, one of them is that I use it to study, where I do most of my university activities on this device. I also use it for fun, where I play video games and do what I like the most, which is to listen to music at full volume.  The cell phone has affected me in a positive and negative way at the same time, since it has been a super valuable tool to work and to improve academically but it has also been a tool that has become indispensable in my life and I think that in a way it affects me and worries me because I have become dependent on the cell phone which can affect my ability to disconnect and enjoy quiet moments. Clearly I recommend cell p...

Why did you choose you study this career?

When I was a child my dream was to be a writer as I was very imaginative with the things around me. This dream is still with me and I believe I can still be one. I remember that I liked to write about many things, but mostly about how I felt. Someday I would like to write about my life and what I am currently studying which is pedagogy in mathematics and physics. When I was going to study I had two career options, which were to be an electrical engineer and a math teacher, but I also liked physics, so when I saw the option of studying both mathematics and physics at the same time I decided to study the career in which I am currently. What made me decide to become a teacher in mathematics and physics, was the vocation and the desire to help students. As a future teacher I want them to be integrated and conscious people in the society in which we live, which many times has left them aside. My experience in university has been similar to that of all students in general, which involves liv...
